A Complete Unknown15
Set in the Greenwich Village music scene of 1961, an enigmatic 19-year-old from Minnesota arrives in New York with his guitar and a revolutionary talent. As he creates deep personal connections during his meteoric rise, he begins to chafe against the confines of the folk movement. Unwilling to be boxed in, he makes a bold decision that forever reshapes the trajectory of American music. Oscar-nominee Timothée Chalamet embodies the magnetic spirit of Bob Dylan in James Mangold’s electrifying musical biopic.
🏆 Nominated for 8 Academy Awards (including Best Picture and Best Lead Actor) 6 BAFTA Film Awards (including Best Film and Best Adapted Screenplay).

‘This is an extraordinary performance, far deeper than an impersonation, that charts the progress of the singer-songwriter, the music scene he entered and altered, and events in the wider world during times that were urgently a’changin’.’
