Kino Kids Cinema Club: Ernest & CelestineU
In a world where bears rule and mice are treated as outcasts, an unexpected friendship blooms between Ernest, a gentle bear who works as a clown and musician, and Celestine, a clever young orphaned mouse who has fled a place where she feels she doesn’t belong. This enchanting animation, created by the team behind A Town Called Panic, brings to life the beloved children’s books by Gabrielle Vincent.
Tickets for Kino Kids Cinema Club screenings are £4 for Children (under-15s) and £6 for Adults. Screenings are relaxed, meaning that the sound will be turned down a notch, and the lights will be up a little, and we don’t mind if people make a bit of noise or move around during the film.
All children (aged 11 and under) must be accompanied by adults at all times, nor shall we admit adults who do not have children with them. If you have any questions or need any more information about these screenings, please feel free to get in touch by emailing us at: [email protected]

Our beautiful art deco inspired auditorium can be found just off East Oxford's Cowley Road. We are open 7 days a week. We open the cinema and box office 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of each film, and the Box Office then closes 10 minutes after the film starts. We don’t show adverts, just a couple of trailers, so don't be late as the film itself starts very close to the advertised time!
