Days of Heaven12A
In 1910 Chicago, a steelworker accidentally kills his supervisor. He flees to the Texas panhandle with his girlfriend and little sister, seeking refuge to work harvesting wheat in the fields of a stoic farmer. In this tragic period romance, renowned filmmaker-philosopher Terrence Malick (Badlands, The Tree of Life) creates a timeless American idyll, widely regarded as one of the most beautifully shot movies in American cinema history. Recently restored in glorious 4K.
Our screening on Sunday will feature an introductory talk by film teacher Dr Andrew Webber.

Our beautiful art deco inspired auditorium can be found just off East Oxford's Cowley Road. We are open 7 days a week. We open the cinema and box office 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of each film, and the Box Office then closes 10 minutes after the film starts. We don’t show adverts, just a couple of trailers, so don't be late as the film itself starts very close to the advertised time!
