A group of women whose husbands never returned from war in Kosovo set up their own business selling homemade food. Together, they find solace in the new venture, but they are soon met by hostility by the men living in their town. Based on a true story, this stirring portrait of female defiance became the first ever film to win all three major awards (Audience Award, Directing Award, World Cinema Grand Jury Prize) at the Sundance Film Festival.
