Sleeping rough on the streets of London, Mike struggles to break free from the chaos of his impulsivity and substance abuse. After a tense incident lands him in prison, he attempts to rebuild his life – entering rehab, seeking work, and reconnecting with those around him. In his directorial debut, British actor-turned-filmmaker Harris Dickinson (Triangle of Sadness, Babygirl) combines sharp observation and subtle humour to explore the challenges of fitting into society’s rigid structures, delivering a poignant meditation on resilience and alienation.
Reviews
‘Harris Dickinson makes a terrifically impressive debut here as a writer-director with this smart, thoughtful, compassionate picture about homelessness. It is engaging and sympathetically acted and layered with genuinely funny moments.’

Peter Bradshaw, The Guardian
‘The scenario is so familiar it could have been the same old story, but the texture of all this street life gives it rather a special shine.’

Tim Robey, The Telegraph

Our beautiful art deco inspired auditorium can be found just off East Oxford's Cowley Road. We are open 7 days a week. We open the cinema and box office 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of each film, and the Box Office then closes 10 minutes after the film starts. We don’t show adverts, just a couple of trailers, so don't be late as the film itself starts very close to the advertised time!
