An inspiring documentary utilising a wealth of audio tapes, personal archival materials, and interviews celebrating the career of one of the first female African American artists to reach a mainstream international audience.

Reviews

‘I went into Tina feeling like I knew this story in my bones, but the film kept opening my eyes — to new insights, new tremors of empathy, and a new appreciation for what a towering artist Tina Turner is.’
Owen Gleiberman, Variety

‘It’s a crowdpleasing tale of triumph over adversity which hits its raw highs and gritty lows every bit as emphatically as Turner during her famously electric performances.’
Wendy Ide, Screen International
