The Truman ShowPG

Directed by Peter Weir | USA | 1998 | 1h 43m | Starring Jim Carrey, Laura Linney, Ed Harris, Noah Emmerich Natascha McElhone

An insurance salesman goes about his day-to-day existence oblivious to the fact that his entire life is a reality TV show, broadcast to the world without his knowledge. As he grapples with the surreal nature of his existence, he begins a quest for freedom and to discover the truth. Peter Weir’s BAFTA-winning drama is a funny and thought-provoking examination of technological intrusion and media manipulation in an age before reality TV was the norm.
