Local filmmaker and hip-hop artist George “Gorygang” Najeme presents a charity fundraiser screening of his latest work The 2nd Coming – a multimedia event which incorporates film and live music performance highlighting George’s battles with mental health, his connection to West Africa, as well as his conviction to his faith.

Building on years of fundraising for Oxfordshire Mind, The 2nd Coming shines a light on the stigma surrounding mental health, particularly in West Africa. The film not only seeks to challenge these harmful perceptions but also raise funds for Oxfordshire Mind and the ongoing Journey Of A Lifetime Charity Mental Health Hospital Project – aiming to raise money for mental health awareness and provision in Cameroon.

Performance starts at 8pm

Tickets cost £15 and all profits from this event will be donated to Oxfordshire Mind.

Our beautiful art deco inspired auditorium can be found just off East Oxford's Cowley Road. We are open 7 days a week. We open the cinema and box office 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of each film, and the Box Office then closes 10 minutes after the film starts. We don’t show adverts, just a couple of trailers, so don't be late as the film itself starts very close to the advertised time!
