The Colors WithinU

Directed by Naoko Yamada | Japan | 2023 | 1h 41m | Japanese w/ English subtitles | Starring Akari Takaishi, Sayu Suzukawa, Taisei Kido, Yasuko, Aoi Yûki

Totsuko, a high school student with the unique ability to see the ‘colours’ of others, finds herself drawn to the radiant aura of her classmate Kimi. Despite not playing an instrument, she joins a band with Kimi and Rui, where music becomes their escape from hidden struggles. As they practice for their first live performance at the campus festival, their bond deepens, and their melodies weave a story of friendship, self-discovery, and expression in this vibrant coming-of-age anime from director Naoko Yamada (A Silent Voice).
