Directed by Khaled Mansour | Egypt/Saudi Arabia | 2024 | 1h 50m | Arabic w/ English subtitles | Starring Essam Omar, Rakeen Saad, Ahmed Bahaa, Samma Ibrahim

In Cairo’s crowded streets, 30-year-old Hassan (Essam Omar) faces eviction alongside his mother (Samaa Ibrahim) and loyal dog, Rambo. When a violent altercation forces Rambo to defend him, Hassan must navigate a hostile city in search of safety and confront his deepest fears along the way. Premiering at the Venice Film Festival and winner of the Yusr Jury Award at the Red Sea International Film Festival, Seeking Haven for Mr. Rambo is a raw, tender portrait of resilience, belonging, and everyday survival.

Receiving its UK premiere as part of SAFAR 2025, Mansour’s debut offers a vital reflection on dignity, identity and masculinity in today’s Arab world.
