Rye Lane15
A hectic day in the life of two young Londoners who both connect with each other while trying to get over their recent heartbreaks. As they roam through markets, karaoke bars, and playgrounds, they help each other deal with their nightmare exes while potentially restoring their faith in romance. British filmmaker Raine Allen Miller’s feature debut is an upbeat romcom bursting with visual vibrancy, infectious charm, and features a joyful score by British musician Kwes.
Reviews
‘Will leave you with a smile on your face, a spring in your step and (hopefully) a renewed confidence in next-wave British film-making.’
★★★★
Mark Kermode, The Observer
‘This romance is special. But it also sort of isn’t. It’s exactly the kind of hope the most lovelorn in Rye Lane’s audience might be looking for.’
★★★★
Clarisse Loughery, The Independent

Our beautiful art deco inspired auditorium can be found just off East Oxford's Cowley Road.We are open 7 days a week. We open the cinema and box office 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of each film, and the Box Office then closes 10 minutes after the film starts. We only show a few adverts – less than most cinemas – and we only play a couple of trailers, so please don’t be late as the film itself starts very close to the advertised time!
