Now, VoyagerPG

Directed by Irving Rapper | USA | 1942 | 1h 57m | Starring Bette Davis, Paul Henreid, Claude Rains, Gladys Cooper, Bonita Granville

A repressed woman struggles to escape the grip of her domineering mother and claim a life of her own. Following the advice of a compassionate psychiatrist, she sets out on a cruise, where she discovers love, and self-worth, for the very first time. But her hard-won confidence is tested when she learns that the man she adores is already married. Made at the height of Bette Davis’s reign as the queen of the woman’s picture and enriched by Max Steiner’s Oscar-winning score, Irving Rapper’s classic melodrama is both a sweeping Hollywood romance and a moving tale of self-discovery.
