Nope15
Two siblings take over a Californian horse ranch which they inherited from their father, a former stunt horse trainer. One day, they glimpse something incredible and sinister in the skies above and attempt to capture it on film, leading them to a chilling discovery. Jordan Peele (Get Out, Us) examines the ruthlessness of Hollywood and the troubled history of the American frontier in this ambitious and entertaining sci-fi horror.
Reviews
‘An ambitious, provocative swing, Nope feels like that increasingly rare beast: an original blockbuster. Unspooling a horrific parody of Hollywood’s hubris, it’s a crowd-pleaser that wonders about the cost of pleasing a crowd.’

‘For Hollywood’s armies of unsung craftsfolk, Nope turns the blockbuster rules on their head: an expansive science-fiction thriller whose heroes rise up and claim their heroism from behind the scenes. For the rest of us, it’s an outrageously good time.’

Our beautiful art deco inspired auditorium can be found just off East Oxford's Cowley Road. We are open 7 days a week. We open the cinema and box office 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of each film, and the Box Office then closes 10 minutes after the film starts. We don’t show adverts, just a couple of trailers, so don't be late as the film itself starts very close to the advertised time!
