Amid the collapse of her marriage, a young woman begins to unravel, experiencing a nervous breakdown that blurs the lines between fantasy and reality. Set against the vibrant backdrop of 1960s ‘swinging’ London, her story unfolds through a fragmented, darkly humorous narrative where dreams and desires pulse as vividly as the city itself. A key work of British countercultural cinema, Jack Bond’s experimental psychological drama received only a limited release upon its debut, but has since been celebrated for its bold visual style and daring exploration of the female psyche.

Our beautiful art deco inspired auditorium can be found just off East Oxford's Cowley Road.We are open 7 days a week. We open the cinema and box office 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of each film, and the Box Office then closes 10 minutes after the film starts. We only show a few adverts – less than most cinemas – and we only play a couple of trailers, so please don’t be late as the film itself starts very close to the advertised time!
