Dead Souls + Director Q&A w/ Alex CoxCert-TBC

Directed by Alex Cox | USA | 2025 | 1h 28m | Starring Alex Cox, Zander Schloss, Edward Tudor-Pole, Dick Rude, Shayn Herndon

It’s 1890, census year, and a stranger named Strindler has arrived in a small Arizona town. His offer is simple: pay him, and he’ll supply the names of dead Mexican labourers. Soon the pistols are out, the officials are crooked, and everyone in town has a stake in the deal. Alex Cox, the director of cult classic Repo Man and host of BBC series Moviedrome (1988-2000), makes his directorial swan song with this meditative Western. It plays out on the borderlands of the American nightmare, where fortunes rest on a dirty deal and legacies are built on blood and gold.

Director Alex Cox will be here in person for a Q&A after the screening.
