Apocalypse Now: Final Cut15
Vietnam, 1970: Captain Willard is sent on a dangerous mission deep into the jungle to find and eliminate Colonel Kurtz, a decorated officer who has reportedly descended into madness. As Willard’s journey upriver becomes increasingly nightmarish, he is drawn not only toward Kurtz, but into a confrontation with the darkest corners of the human psyche. Francis Ford Coppola’s harrowing epic of war and madness stands as a landmark of the New Hollywood era, an unflinching masterpiece now regarded as one of the greatest achievements in American cinema.
Presented as a double-bill with behind-the-scenes documentary Hearts Of Darkness on Saturday 9th August. Purchase tickets to both screenings (in a single transaction) and get an automatic 30% discount on the overall cost.

Our beautiful art deco inspired auditorium can be found just off East Oxford's Cowley Road.We are open 7 days a week. We open the cinema and box office 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of each film, and the Box Office then closes 10 minutes after the film starts. We only show a few adverts – less than most cinemas – and we only play a couple of trailers, so please don’t be late as the film itself starts very close to the advertised time!
