Kino Kids Cinema Club: The Giant PearU

Directed by Philip Einstein Lipski | Denmark | 2017 | 1h 18m

Welcome to Sunnytown, a peaceful coastal village where life is sweet until the beloved mayor mysteriously vanishes! While fishing one day, friends Mitcho (a little cat) and Sebastian (a small elephant) discover a message in a bottle from the missing mayor, along with a mysterious seed. After planting the seed, they’re amazed when it grows into an enormous pear overnight! Using the giant fruit as a boat, the two friends set sail on a magical ocean adventure to find the mayor. Based on the popular Danish children’s book, this bright and colourful animated adventure will delight the whole family.

Tickets for Kino Kids Cinema Club screenings are £4 for Children (under-15s) and £6 for Adults. Screenings are relaxed, meaning that the sound will be turned down a notch, and the lights will be up a little, and we don’t mind if people make a bit of noise or move around during the film.

All children (aged 11 and under) must be accompanied by adults at all times, nor shall we admit adults who do not have children with them. If you have any questions or need any more information about these screenings, please feel free to get in touch by emailing us at: [email protected]
