At university, she begins to develop a radical affinity with the IRA, a sympathy that eventually leads to a violent armed raid on an country estate. A bold and thrilling psychological portrait based on the true story of Rose Dugdale, brought to life by Irish filmmakers Christine Molloy and Joe Lawlor (Rose Play Julie).

Reviews

‘A fascinating psychological study of fanaticism, with Poots’s expressive performance unpeeling the layers beneath Dugdale’s fervent belief in her cause.’
★★★★
Wendy Ide, The Observer

‘A meaty, multifaceted role for the perennially underrated Imogen Poots. The filmmakers have a thrilling grasp of their politically and philosophically rich material.’
★★★★
David Jenkins, Little White Lies
