Singin’ In the RainU
A silent film star falls in love with a chorus girls who aspires to be an actress, just as he and his jealous screen partner are trying to make the difficult transition to “talkies” in 1920s Hollywood. With its memorable songs, romantic screenplay, and iconic dance numbers, this sharp satire on the movie industry is rightfully heralded as the greatest Hollywood musical ever made. Recently voted the 10th greatest film ever made by critics in the BFI Sight and Sound Magazine.

Our beautiful art deco inspired auditorium can be found just off East Oxford's Cowley Road. We are open 7 days a week. We open the cinema and box office 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of each film, and the Box Office then closes 10 minutes after the film starts. We don’t show adverts, just a couple of trailers, so don't be late as the film itself starts very close to the advertised time!
