Brighton RockPG
In 1930s Brighton, a vicious small time criminal called Pinky becomes the leader of a gang after a spate of murders. With police sniffing around, he finds an alibi through a waitress who he promises to marry in return for her corroboration. However, Pinky’s grip on the situation begins to unravel as the bodies continue to pile up. Adapted from a Graham Greene novel, this seminal example of the British gangster film stars an intense performance by Richard Attenborough.

‘John Boulting’s adaptation of Graham Greene’s classic novel stakes its claim as one of the darkest films ever to be made on these shores.’
★★★★★
Jamie Russell, BBC
‘Director John Boulting brings the fabled Greeneland, that vile landscape ripened on sin and betrayal at the black heart of all his novels, to sensuous life.’

Our beautiful art deco inspired auditorium can be found just off East Oxford's Cowley Road. We are open 7 days a week. We open the cinema and box office 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of each film, and the Box Office then closes 10 minutes after the film starts. We don’t show adverts, just a couple of trailers, so don't be late as the film itself starts very close to the advertised time!
