Unicorns15
After a chance encounter, a single father finds himself drawn into the world of a queer South Asian nightclub performer. As their relationship deepens, both begin to question their identities and confront their personal truths. Co-directed by Sally El Hosaini and filmmaker-actor James Krishna Floyd, this modern romance explores the thrill of raw desire, the weight of familial responsibility, and the transformative power of being truly seen as one’s authentic self.
Reviews
‘The excellent central performances carry the story: Patel’s physicality shifts between the power and magnetism of Aysha and the gentleness of Ashiq… And Hardy is terrific.’
★★★★
Wendy Ide, The Observer
‘In his debut big-screen performance, the warm-hearted and witty Patel – like Aysha – steals the show.’
★★★★
Hanna Flint, Time Out

Our beautiful art deco inspired auditorium can be found just off East Oxford's Cowley Road.We are open 7 days a week. We open the cinema and box office 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of each film, and the Box Office then closes 10 minutes after the film starts. We only show a few adverts – less than most cinemas – and we only play a couple of trailers, so please don’t be late as the film itself starts very close to the advertised time!
