A wealthy Chilean landowner enlists the services of three horsemen to safeguard his expansive estate. Among them are a reckless British soldier, an American mercenary, and a Chilean marksman named Segundo. As tensions escalate within the group, Segundo begins to realise their true mission: the violent eradication of the indigenous population. Felipe Gálvez Haberle’s award-winning anti-Western unfolds as a brutal narrative of colonialist violence set against the backdrop of early 20th-century South America. Winner of the Critics Prize at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.
