Directed by Stéphanie Di Giusto | France | 2023 | 1h 55m | French w/ English subtitles | Starring Nadia Tereszkiewicz, Benoît Magimel, Benjamin Biolay, Guillaume Gouix, Gustave Kervern

In 1870s France, a young woman named Rosalie is married off to an indebted bar owner, Abel, for her dowry. Throughout her adult life, Rosalie has kept a secret: her face and body are covered in hair, which she conceals to be accepted by high society. How will Abel react when he discovers Rosalie’s secret? Stéphanie Di Giusto’s heartfelt period romance is a poignant tale of self-acceptance and a nuanced exploration of feminine beauty standards.
