A successful novelist returns to his hometown of Cognac for the first time in 35 years to help promote a local distillery. Once there, he is stunned to discover that one of the company’s executives is the son of his first love, Thomas. This unexpected reunion opens the floodgates of vivid memories, drawing him back to his past and reigniting the flames of a once-secret and passionate affair. Adapted from Philippe Besson’s acclaimed novel, Oliver Peyon’s captivating romance strikes the perfect balance of melancholy and melodrama.
