Eddington15
During the COVID-19 pandemic, a tense standoff between a small-town sheriff and the mayor ignites deep divisions in Eddington, New Mexico, turning neighbour against neighbour. Online conspiracy theories, racial tensions, cult influences, and cryptocurrency collide in this disorienting modern Western from Ari Aster (Hereditary, Midsommar), starring Joaquin Phoenix and Pedro Pascal.
Reviews
‘This is Aster’s funniest film to date, and makes use of an ever expanding and shifting cast to dot the 150-minute runtime with well-observed comic details and visual payoffs.’
★★★★
Sophie Monks Kaufman, The Independent
‘Aster’s deranged vision makes most directors seem timid in comparison.’
★★★★
Nicholas Barber, BBC

Our beautiful art deco inspired auditorium can be found just off East Oxford's Cowley Road. We are open 7 days a week. We open the cinema and box office 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of each film, and the Box Office then closes 10 minutes after the film starts. We don’t show adverts, just a couple of trailers, so don't be late as the film itself starts very close to the advertised time!
