Dir. Leos Carax | France | 2021 | 2h 21m | Starring Adam Driver, Marion Cotillard, Simon Helberg

A seemingly perfect couple—a provocative stand-up comedian and internationally renowned opera singer—live glamorous lives in contemporary LA. However, their lives are turned upside down with the birth of their first child, a curious little girl with mysterious gifts. Reviews

‘Beautiful, sensual, startling, operatically crackers…Both Cotillard and Driver are fearlessly committed, but Annette is the kind of film where going all-in is the only option.’ ★★★★★ Robbie Collin, The Telegraph

‘Annette is a forthright and declamatory and crazy spectacle, teetering over the cliff edge of its own nervous breakdown, demanding that we feel its pain, feel its pleasure’ ★★★★ Peter Bradshaw, The Guardian
