“Pour yourself a cup of ambition!”

Judy, Violet and Doralee couldn’t be more different from each other, but they’ve all got one thing in common — their horrible boss. Barely getting by, with all taking and no giving, the three women unite and form an inspiring friendship. As relevant today as it was when it was first released, Colin Higgins’s 1980 classic celebrates the power of female friendship.

This screening is part of Oxford International Women's Festival and will be introduced by former Unison National Officer, Heather Wakefield, who is now Chair of Maternity Action and a Visiting Fellow at Greenwich University.
